We’re back...

...from Cycleshow 2009 - slightly weary but what an excellent turnout with some real stunners and surprises dotted about the show. Maybe it’s the retro MTB-er in us but we couldn’t help admire the new Pace 42:16 singlespeed/fixed frame with its lovely integrated bar/stem combo. Also making an appearance for the first time in public was the new range by Cooper Bikes, that’s right as in Mini Cooper! With Reynolds tubing throughout their range and some decent components, they seem competitively priced and had only just been stickered up that morning.
Fixie Inc. had their innovative belt driven ‘Backspin’ and ‘Peacemaker’ bikes on show as well as the brutish ‘Black Jack’ steam-roller. Viva’s neatly finished Duro with it’s twin top and down-tubes was also a looker.

Star of the show though was the Pegoretti (above) on Mosquito Bikes’ stand, absolutely stunning with amazing attention to detail; Dario’s reputation as one of the premier frame builders in the world is wholly justified.
