For those of you with an iPhone there’s a nifty new app called Cyclopedia that uses the phone’s camera, compass and GPS to overlay information in the viewfinder. It combines geomapped information from Wikipedia with your current view, giving you access to articles on surrounding points of interest. You can set the distance radii to be as close or as far as you like, enabling you no narrow down your search or information. Currently there are over 65,000 entries in Wikipedia that are mapped but more are added on a daily basis, you can even add them yourself.
