This one off build for a customer certainly grabbed attention when being moved around for these photos.
Wanting a reliable, modern fixed gear with a retrospective twist, a relatively restrained build was discussed until the choice of cranks came up. Being a keen poker player there was really only one option and things spiraled from there...
The classic 531-tubed frame has been treated to a very thorough renovation with metallic main tubes (inspired by B5 Blue, as used on Dodge Chargers!) and chromed Nervex lugs, fork crown and drop-outs front and rear. Equally shiny Paul Comp Royal Flush cranks and E-Lever, polished Nitto Bullhorns and a selection of leather goods from the VO range - saddle, grips, straps and clip-covers - complement the finish. He also has a set of durable skinwall Halo Twin Rail tyres to swap with the sticky brown Dia Compe Gran Compes pictured.
